I tweeted a link to my last post which was the Cat-heads illustration. There have been a lot of times I have been followed by spam accounts after their bot finds some key word; for example there was one time I tweeted “Church of Farts” and one of those stadium churches suddenly started following me. (That is my favorite Twitter story, by the way.) So when my tweet was favorited and retweeted by Pussies on Parade I assumed it was a similar story, and perhaps pornographic. Turns out it’s actually just cat-themed art.

I would like to dedicate this illustration to my boyfriend. He shared this article about manly slang from the 19th century with me and that is when I learned that “cat-heads” was a euphemism for breasts. I felt that term was just begging to be illustrated, so… here we are!

Skateboard and the harem of 11 babes to be transferred for painting. That’s a lot of drawing right there!

The idea for this piece actually came from a dream I had where I was working on a painting… like this. I’ve had a lot of these dreams before, but this is the first time I actually remembered enough details to reproduce it. I’m so excited!

For the Star Wars show coming up at Start Gallery, downtown Detroit. I really need to find a replacement camera because scanning a three-dimensional object / photobooth isn’t really cutting it as far as documenting my work goes. Maybe I’ll get lucky and a nice friend will smart phone it at the show for me or something ;)

I have about 7 favorite animals, so I chose to draw a buffalo because I feel like out of all my favorites buffalos are definitely the most underrated.
